About

me

Hi, I’m Amber — a full-time marketing manager, busy mom of two, PCOS warrior and everyday woman trying to stay healthy, grounded, and maybe even a little sane in the chaos of it all.

I started Planting Our Poppy Seeds during a deeply personal chapter — our fertility journey after being diagnosed with PCOS in 2015. The blog name came from that delicate moment of hope after a fertility treatment, when — if everything worked — your baby would be about the size of a poppy seed. I clung to that image. It represented potential, healing, and what felt like impossible hope.

Years later, I’m a proud mom of two amazing kids, now 5 and 7. But PCOS doesn’t end with pregnancy — and neither did my journey. Today, Planting Our Poppy Seeds is about more than trying to conceive. It’s about planting seeds of health, balance, and joy in this busy, messy, beautiful chapter of life.

I share what’s working, what’s real, and what’s still in progress — because that’s where most of us live: in the messy middle.

You won’t find perfect meal plans or polished routines here. You’ll find a woman who’s still trying to lose weight while working full-time, chasing her kids, managing groceries and dinners, and carving out time for herself — sometimes failing, sometimes thriving, and always trying again.

Thanks for being here. Whether you’re walking through your own PCOS diagnosis, navigating busy-mom life, or just looking for honest, relatable wellness content — I hope you find something here that makes you feel a little more seen, supported, and understood.
